
The Strand Sun Ray is a luxurious condominium perfect for families. From the balcony you have a breathtaking view of the crystal clear lagoon each and the Caribbean Sea. The private sandy beach is a joy for kids and features nice palm trees, palapas (palm leaved umbrellas) and lounge chairs to enjoy the best beach day ever. The lagoon is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. There is also a large swimming pool. The Strand Sun Ray is situated in a secured resort which has a private parking space for each condominium.

The Strand Sun Ray features 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet and spacious bathroom with shower, double sink and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The third bedroom has 1 twin bed. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In the hallway is a guest toilet. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with high end finishes. There is a seating area inside and a dining area outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean.
AMENITIES
The condominium is equipped with high speed wireless internet, flat screen with cable TV in both living area and master bedroom. The kitchen has all appliances needed for a home cooked meal such as refrigerator with ice cubes and water, cooking appliance, oven, microwave, coffee maker (Nespresso, regular small pods), toaster, etc. There is a central AC system for the entire unit which can be regulated at your convenience. Temperature and time in use will effect the total cost of usage. Cost for utilities are very high on the island. 40 kwh is included in the rate. Over usage will be charged at USD 0.50 per kwh. Meter readings are taken at check in and out. We kindly ask our guests to take the impact on the environment into consideration. There is a European washer and dryer available. The property features 220 voltage European style (circular) outlets only. Adapters are available. Cleaning is planned after every 7th day with linen change.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
The Strand Sun Ray is located only a few blocks away from the historic town center and harbor of Willemstad. In the direct surroundings you find different international and local restaurants and cocktail bars. The recently renovated "Pietermaai Small" area with its small streets and colorful houses is the ultimate Curacao experience. Lots to explore also in the many museums and at the oldest synagogue of the Western Hemisphere Mikve-Israel Emanuel.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO BOOKING
This is a self‑catered, privately owned property. A starter supply of essentials is provided (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand and dish soap, dishwasher tabs, sponge, bed and bath linens, plus beach towels). Guests are responsible for replenishing these items as needed.
Personal toiletries and other comfort items should be brought along or purchased locally. For longer stays, a mid‑term cleaning with fresh bed and bath linens is included. Beds are prepared with a European‑style duvet, and you’ll always have freshly laundered covers at each changeover.
Electricity usage up to 40 kWh per night is covered; additional consumption is charged at USD 0.50 per kWh. Meter readings are taken at check‑in and check‑out.
The property is equipped with EU 220V electrical outlets.
In the event of a cancellation an administration fee applies of USD 150.00.

We loved our time celebrating my friend’s milestone birthday at Jo’s place. The view is amazing, the amenities were on spot and it was easy to get where we wanted to go via a cab ride for restaurants and fun.

Jo’s place is gorgeous! It is exactly as described and the pictures are spot on! Karin (property manager) was super pleasant and helpful with our check in. The location is great. There are several great restaurants super close by and it’s a mile to downtown! We walked there a few times with no issues. The private beach is great. Its peaceful and offers both sun and shade options. I was worried about the electricity allowance and possible over use but that was not a problem at all. Since there is a locked gate at your front door you just leave your front door open and open the back porch doors. It provides such a comfortable breeze that AC was only needed at night. I would highly recommend Jo’s place.
Karin was great and met us at the condo when we arrived and showed us how everything worked. She was quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. Loved the patio and the private beach area. Was walkable to many great restaurants and to the floating bridge. Had a wonderful stay and are sad to leave this beautiful island! It is our new favorite!
We spent 9 days during the holidays and absolutely loved this place. There is a private beach which always had loungers available and a great pool. The house is very clean, cold air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen and free parking included. The views from the balcony are stunning. We spent so much time there eating meals, having drinks or playing games with the kids. There is also amazing cross winds if you keep the balcony door and front door open which was so refreshing. The property manager Karin was super helpful answering all our questions and providing local recommendations. We loved it so much we will be back very soon. Highly recommended!
The condo was great - just as described online. The onsite property manager (Karin) was present for our arrival and gave us a tour of the condo and all features. She was wonderful. The grounds were pristine and the pool and beach area were amazing. There is onsite maintenance staff, and you can tell they take pride in the property. The beach was raked every morning. Several nice restaurants were withing walking distance. If bringing small children, consider bringing plates/cups for them, as there are no kid friendly dishes. We had brought some paper plates. We would definitely consider returning to Jo's condo in the future.
I took my mother here for Thanksgiving holiday. We loved the views from the balcony and the private beach was the gem of the trip. We really enjoyed our stay and Karin made coordination and recommendations for local things to do and try so seamless. It was a great way to see Willemstad and experience Curaçao - I’d highly recommend this stay to anyone!

This is the perfect place to stay while in Curacao! The facilities are beautiful, clean, and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing vacation! Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly throughout our stay and booking process. The location is right on the water with a private beach and pool. The condo has a beautiful kitchen but we hardly used it as we were in walking distance of TONS of amazing restaurants. It is also super close to downtown Willemstad, Mambo beach, the grocery store and gas station for filling up the rental car (which I highly recommend getting to explore the island). We had an amazing week on this BEAUTIFUL island at this wonderful property. We WILL be back!!!
Clean and well situated. Apartment is 10 min walk from nice restaurant and 15 min walk (with sidewalks) to center Willemstad. Beach in front is nice for snorkeling or just swimming. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available. Communication with host is easy (Saskia does a wonderful job). I recommend strongly.
